Project Greenlight Zero Waste Demonstration Site Explainer Animation

Project Greenlight, an initiative of the Vancouver Economic Commission, is a technology demonstration platform that connects enterprises and innovators to fast-track pilot projects and accelerate innovation. The project partnered with The City of Vancouver to launch a zero-waste demonstration where local clean-tech companies can pilot their technologies and test if they can become a viable solution for the city.

Six Degrees was hired to create an explainer animation that introduces the zero waste demonstration site in order to attract local clean-tech companies to the site. Since creating a virtual map of the site was a huge component of the brief, we opted to create an isometric view of the site, and then combined that with regular motion design animation that includes characters, icons and titles.
